The Roth Williams Legacy Fund Donation Letter

Roth Williams Legacy Fund Members and Friends:

In August at the RWISO meeting in Buenos Aires I had the honor and privilege, as chairman of the Roth Williams Legacy Fund (RWLF) Committee, to introduce the endowment Fund to the RWISO Council and membership. The idea of a Legacy Fund is long overdue and necessary if we are to create an endowment to insure that future orthodontists will know the ideas and work of Drs. Roth and Williams and will want to make the Roth Williams Philosophy the foundation of their clinical practice. It is a privilege to be able to repay Drs. Roth and Williams in some small way for all that they have given us while at the same time providing the financial resources to perpetuate their legacy. Now, it is essential that we raise as much money as possible to support the many projects that need to be conducted and papers that need to be published in order to document the scientific basis and health benefits of the Roth Williams Philosophy.

The goal of the Roth Williams Legacy Fund Endowment is to provide financial resources to support research and development in basic sciences, materials, techniques and technologies, clinical application and educational methods in regard to the Roth Williams Philosophy. If you go to rwiso.org website, the mission statement of the Roth Williams Legacy Fund is presented. The website will be the source most commonly used to communicate with the organization and donors about the Fund. If you wish, it is possible to make donations using the RWISO website.

The RWISO membership is a relatively small group and, therefore, we need to maximize our resources. The bottom line is that we all need to contribute in order to develop financial resources that will enable the Fund to support all the work that needs to be accomplished. It is a fact that the organizations with the largest endowments are the most successful long term because they have the financial resources to accomplish what is necessary for a strong future.

The pledge of a "A CASE FOR RON AND THE FUTURE OF THE Roth Williams PHILOSOPHY" ($3000-$8000) paid over 3 to 5 years is small in comparison to the role that Ron and Bob and the Roth Williams Philosophy have played in our professional life.

The commitment of a contribution in support of the mission of the Roth Williams Legacy Fund Endowment will secure the future of the Roth Williams Philosophy.

Gratefully yours,
